Old town in Tarnów is often referred to as “pearl of Renaissance” for numerous priceless artifacts of the period.
With its town square encircled by the 16th – 18th c. tenement houses, and with beautiful town hall in the center, Tarnów is one of the greatest examples of the Renaissance urban layout of Polish cities.
