Tourist Treasures of Małopolska Competition!

Krakow, Tarnów or Zakopane? Vistula Bicycle Route, Malopolska Wine Route, or the Festival of the Children of Mountains? Or maybe another unique attraction of the Region? Decide today what you like the most about Małopolska Region!

The "Tourist Treasures of Małopolska" competition, whose idea is to reward the most attractive, innovative and tourist-friendly places and touristic offers, is launched on 5 August this year. In the first stage, we invite everyone to submit applications in six categories:

Decide now and indicate where in Małopolska you can find a place with a unique atmosphere, the most interesting tourist trail, unique tourist attraction, cyclic event, agritourism farm and catering facility.

Click on the selected category and submit a candidate. When applying, make sure you have the permission of the owner/host/organiser. We are waiting for all candidacies until August 18th this year. The rules of participation in the competition can be found in the Rules and Regulations, which are available on the competition website.

In the second stage of the competition, voting for selected objects will take place. The voting will begin on September 1st and will last until September 20th this year.

We will know the winners of the competition already in October!

The competition is organized by the Local Government of the Małopolska Region in cooperation with the Małopolska Tourist Organization.


Participation in the competition is free of charge.



The winner in the category "A place with a climate - a tourist town/commune" will receive the award of the Marshal of the Małopolska Region in the amount of PLN 50,000.

All winners and candidates distinguished in each competition category will be covered by a promotional campaign conducted by the Małopolska Tourist Organisation in the year following the year in which the competition was decided.

The competition is intended for local government units, economic self-governments, local tourist organizations, local action groups, associations, tourist foundations, private entrepreneurs (e.g. owners of tourist facilities and attractions, organizers of tourist events), route managers, other entities operating in the tourism sector and natural persons.
