The Monument of "Crossing" was erected in 2010-2012 as a response to the need of establishing a space of contemplation and meeting of people injured in road traffic accidents and their families, as well as a place to commemorate those killed.
The design of the monument was prepared by sculptor Jacek Kucaba. The construction of the monument is the first stage in establishing the Centre for Post-Trauma Therapy.
Each year, on the third Sunday of November, the celebrations of the World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims are held in Zabawa.
