The cemetery was founded at the turn of the 17th and 18th century.
To this day, at the cemetery about two hundred tombs have been preserved, including the tomb of Eisik Stern, founder of the Dąbrowa synagogue, the ohel, in which the Dąbrowa Tzadiks were buried and the tombs of the Roth family maintaining the last, in the postwar years, open prayer house in Małopolska, at ul. Daszyńskiego in Dąbrowa. During the years of the occupation, mass graves were formed in the cemetery which today are commemorated by the monuments founded by the Reichberg-Roth Foundation.
