The Church was built in 1782. It is traditionally said to stand on the spot at which St. Adalbert, heading from Hungary to Poland, said a mass.
The late-baroque church was erected using log construction, with shingled walls and roofs. However the sacristy which was built on to the chancel (closed on three sides) is brick. On the walls and ceilings you can see ornamental-figurative polychrome carried out by W. Lisowski in 1940. The rococo altars date from the second half of the C18th. The main altar is adorned by a depiction of St. Adalbert dating from the same period as the altar. The church fittings were produced in the C19th in a baroque style and include: a font, pulpit and confessionals.
